The third part of the Forough Farrokhzad's trilogy, Summit of the Wave is an inspiring retrospective of Iranian director and poet Forough Farrokhzad. Dying tragically in 1967, at the tender age of 32, Farrokhzad had a short but illustrious career which, alongside her more renowned efforts in directing and writing poetry, traversed acting, film editing, film dubbing, and writing musical scores. This documentary brings her career to light, displaying the social awareness and playful style of her talent with a deftly compelling touch. While family members and admirers talk about her creative legacy, fascinating scenes from her films and real life combine to produce a portrait of a truly exceptional woman.
